About Epic Minds

Epic Minds LLC helps communities run their own AI. Small clusters, owned and operated by the people who use them, and connected so that the direction of the models is set by a community rather than received from a vendor.

We came to this from education. Our roots are in educational consultancy, guiding schools and organisations through the complexities of technology integration, and that is where the question got sharp: the people living with a system are rarely the people who decided what it should do. AI makes that gap much more expensive to ignore.

What we believe

Technology should be an asset, not an obstacle. A model that nobody in your organisation can question, adjust or retrain is an obstacle wearing a useful disguise. Ownership is what turns it back into an asset — not ownership of the weights alone, but of the decision about what the thing is for.
